'A painting of Colin McCahons from International Air Race [1953] was the starting point for an examination of my environmental story. In 1953 the flight from London was a three day journey. Fifty years later it can be done in less than half that time , and for a lot less money but at considerable cost to the environment some would argue.
To live and function in this world one has to acknowledge a certain level of consumption ( resources , information , ideologies , etc. ) but not without some attendant anxiety .'
