'Love' [2009]

'The driver behind the work is the complexity of love as a vital factor in healing.
The work consists of suspended x-rays of a rose, paired with red roses enclosed in iv fluid bags with declining amounts of fluid left.
It juxtaposes the idea of romantic love, often cut with destructive emotion, against the clinical and often unsettling aspects of medical intervention (which some people find a little uncomfortable).'
